Regular maintenance is essential for ensuring print quality, preventing malfunctions, and extending the equipment's lifespan.
Regular and proper cleaning of the printhead is crucial for preventing ink clogs, maintaining print quality, and prolonging the life of the nozzles-a step that requires particular attention when using UV inks.
Daily maintenance involves controlling the operating environment (ideally maintaining a temperature of 20°C–32°C and humidity of 40%–70%) and checking ink levels, viscosity, and systems such as intelligent stirring and constant-temperature/constant-pressure ink supply. Additionally, the print platform must be kept clean, and the UV lamp system requires regular maintenance.
Modern high-end models are typically equipped with automatic printhead maintenance or cleaning systems. These systems feature effective anti-clogging capabilities, automatically cleaning the printhead at set intervals and in various modes to prevent nozzle blockages, thereby reducing manual intervention and increasing efficiency.
Implementing these maintenance measures helps ensure high-quality printing and extends the service life of the equipment.
